Tick Tock: Inspiration is Everywhere: What's Your Excuse?

Inspiration is everywhere. There are people who have built a life of struggle into a life of inspiration and motivation. There are people who have built something from nothing. There are people who are living their dreams all because they took a risk doing something they love and believe in their dreams.

So what is holding you back from doing the same? What's your excuse? What are your dreams?

Living an inspired life is more than just being inspired by others. It is about finding your own passion, purpose, and a vision for your life. If you don't know your passion, purpose, or have a vision for your life, it is time to get one.

What is it that you really love to do? What gets you excited about living? What gets you excited to wake up in the morning?

Finding your passion can be as simple as expanding upon a hobby.

Also, living an inspired life is more than about money or material things. It is about loving what you day in and day out. It is about loving the process, learning from challenges, and overcoming the struggles along the way. Living an inspired life is about finding the peace from within. It is about helping others do the same.

So many people separate themselves from "those who succeed". But in reality, you are no better than any successful person and they are no better than you. The difference is in the action steps. Successful people living an inspired life do it based on their passions and their purpose.

Let's look at a few people who are living an inspired life living through passion and purpose.

J.K. Rowling - The ultra successful author of the Harry Potter series came from humble beginnings. She endured welfare and two failed marriages. She overcame through her passion of writing and through weaving stories together. This was her passion. She now gives back through philanthropic efforts and donated a large chunk of her earnings to charity and as a result was knocked off a list of billionaires.

Oprah Winfrey - Oprah also came from humble beginnings but completed her degree in journalism and started working as a television network reporter. She grew to have her own television show and was a hit. She has a passion for helping people live their best life and has many philanthropic endeavors to help those in poverty and encouraging others to live an inspired life. Her network OWN is a network of inspiration holding many television shows dedicated to personal development. She also frequently interview personal development gurus. The point is she believed in herself, found her passion and took it all the way.

Bill Gates - Although Bill Gates had the ability to go to Harvard he did not finish. Instead, he used his skill and his knowledge to build one of the largest and most well-known hardware/software companies of all time. He took a risk and bet on himself. He wasn't looking to get rich or build a huge company, he was just doing something he loved and his passion led the way. He and his wife have the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which is a philanthropic foundation focused on helping others.

Again, the point here is that these wealthy and famous individuals did not have a magic want. They had desire, belief and the strength to keep going despite bumps in the road and intermediate failures. Getting past failure and doing what you love are the keys to success and inspiration. Also, they all give back! Giving back is huge in living an inspired life. It is not all about making money like I said earlier as it is about sharing the path with others, lending a helping hand and understanding that we are all in this together.

So, how will you look at life differently? What endeavors will you pursue to reach your own level of greatness?
How will you live your own inspired life?

Tick-Tock, time waits for no one. Get moving in the direction of your dreams today!
